Cam/IoD Game structure idea

There's a problem in long running LARP chronicles. You have a lot of characters doing a lot of different things for a indeterminate length of time. This tends to switch the game style across to simulationist - but this doesn't really work because game events can only occur in tiny chunks of time with limited ST ability and will to support everyone ( Read more... )

I'm doing something similar for the mage LARP I'm running ATM. we have a 'quarter' which has two session of social games and a month of smaller mini games allowing character to focus on and move towards the conclusion of stories. Players can also supply their own minigame ideas

I see two problems with your plan, first is that Cam players have always been a pain to write plot for and some are downright resentful for it being there. The second is it reduces the ST to a challenge monkey and admin roll.
