"Since you're so willing to learn, I think a cross-cultural exchange is in order. I'll go first." Boldly, Kennedy leaned forward, placing his hand in her hair just behind her ear. He kissed Kara softly, lingering for far too long. He asked, "Are you still with me, or I do I need to repeat the lesson?"
Kara wasn't exactly surprised at the intimate contact of their lips, but his hand in her hair caught her off guard.
She smiled against his lips, blinking a bit when he pulled away. Her eyes were round and searching for a moment before she grinned again and said, "I think I need advanced lessons, Mister Kennedy." Unable to resist, Kara laid her hand on his neck, fingertips barely brushing the nape, and took what she'd asked for.
It was hardly taking from him as he offered the lessons to Thrace rather freely. And why shouldn't he? Archie was a teacher, after all, and he felt like it was his duty to complete the tutelage. Deepening the kiss slightly, he allowed his eyes to close and gave a big ol' thumbs up to his partner in crime, the sprig of mistletoe.
After a few moments of thorough... study, she drew away reluctantly, needing a moment to recover. At last she grinned up at him.
"Not bad, especially for school." She tilted her head to one side, considering his slightly flushed cheeks and indecorously ruffled hair. She grinned at the sight.
Archie shook his hand readily, the very picture of holiday spirit. "My name's Archie Kennedy, Scotty," he replied, testing the sound of it. "Good to be in the spirit of things."

"Quite all right. No need to worry. Besides, it gave me an opportunity to meet someone new. What is it that you do for a living?" And just what does a person do with their hands after being kissed by a complete stranger? Archie crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, not vacating his spot under the mistletoe.

"Right now? Work half-time fer GAME, which is this..." Scotty paused to think about it, clasping his hands behind his back. How exactly does one explain this? "...it's sort o' this engineering firm, 'cept there's quite a bit o' arcane energy hangin' about it. My boss is a master mage. Other job is workin' as a manager fer a clothing design firm. An' then I tend bar on the side."
That was quite a list. Scotty chuckled, shaking his head, then looked back at Archie. "What d'ye do, then?" He sincerely doubted it was any stranger.

Kennedy chuckled and eventually fended off the blue critter. "It's nice to see you, too." Archie reached up and scratched at his head. "So, you didn't say what you wanted."
