About six months prior to the start of the game, the Shomonkai, a religious cult that worshipped Belberith, weakened the barrier between Earth and the demon world by defeating Jikoku, one of the four Devas. Amane achieved this with the help of Jezebel, a demon implanted inside her by Belberith. This was done in order to make demon summoning simpler to use, along with the cult commissioning Naoya, the MC’s cousin, to design the Demon Summoning Program.
It was around that time when Remiel, one of God’s angels, hid within Amane’s body in order to learn Belberith’s intentions.
Then, six months later, the plot happened.
After the MC chose to side with Naoya, Remiel possessed Amane’s and other Shomonkai members fought the group on Day 7. They want to kidnap Amane in order to go inside her mind for Jezebel’s powers. Unfortunately for Amane, they succeeded in taking her.
When the group dived inside her with the help of the COMPs and before they find Jezebel, Amane found herself in an unfamiliar, strange city.
[ Personality ] :
Mysterious, charismatic and well spoken, that is the impression most people would get when they see Amane for the first time. As the maiden of the Shomonkai and a result of her upbringing (her father is the cult’s founder), she is kind, calm and polite. Amane doesn’t make jokes or tease people like typical teenagers, preferring to choose her words carefully before speaking and to keep her composure. In short, a teenage girl who seems more mature and responsible with how she acts.
She’s a rather private person, preferring to explain things for other people (in other words, expositions) over talking about herself. Most of the things the player would learn about her was from overhearing Amane’s conversations or, primarily, being told of by others like Remiel. Amane doesn’t want to trouble people with herself and have a tendency to put others first before her. It’s only when she truly trusts in someone that she opens up and expresses her worries.
In the lockdown, Amane would often be going around and helping people. She’s altruistic, wishing to help as much as she can and minimise bloodshed. Before Remiel spoke to her, she believed in the Shomonkai’s teachings at first because she thought it’d help save everyone from God’s ordeal. Even if it meant risking her soul by carrying Jezebel within her because she believed it could help. But after hearing Remiel’s words, Amane starts to support the angels’ ideals and plan. It would cause her to go against her father, who supports Belberith, and made her doubt the cult’s ways, but she wouldn’t be deterred. To prevent as much bloodshed and deaths as possible, she betrayed her original beliefs by urging the MC to be the Messiah in God’s name.
However, she’s not without guilt and her own faults. Amane wishes to atone for defeating Jikoku with Jezebel’s power, part of which lead to the lockdown coming into place. That’s one of the reasons why she listened and agreed with Remiel’s words so readily; if she heard him sooner, Amane wouldn’t have defeated Jikoku. Another reason is how rule-abiding she is with order, as Amane believes peace and paradise can be achieved from it. That by following God, there would be no more suffering.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
+ Her magical strength is very high and she can wield a variety of magical spells with a COMP
+ She can tank magical attacks pretty darn well
+ Can take a punch, due to the COMP’s Harmonizer program, which lessens the damage she receives
+ Can hear the voices of supernatural beings since she was young
+ Have deep faith in God
+ Helpful and kind
- She’s not going to win in a fist fight.
- Even with the COMP’s Harmonizer, she’s still human.
- Since Jezebel’s recovering her strength, Amane’s growing weaker, mentally.
- She’s not exactly fast on her feet, since her Shomonkai outfit doesn’t allow a lot of movement.
- Dislike chaos and anarchy
- Feels guilt over using Jezebel’s power to defeat a Deva to weaken the dimensional barrier between the human and demon world

[ Other Important Facts ] :
Amane has two presences inside her: the angel, Remiel, and the powerful Bel demon, Jezebel. However, Jezebel’s well hidden, so anyone that can sense them would be able to vaguely feel Remiel’s angelic presence. They would need to have very good senses to feel them both.
Remiel also can possess Amane’s body with her consent, generally to provide exposition. Otherwise, he'll stay silent except in certain circumstances (as seen in Atsuro’s route, when he temporarily took over because Jezebel’s forced removal weakens Amane’s mind too much).

She can simply tell that Jezebel’s growing stronger with each passing day. However, none of this was shown on her carefully guarded face, bearing the burden with the dignity and strength the Shomonkai’s maiden was expected to have. She was chosen to carry His Majesty Belberith’s minion, it was supposed to be a great honour.
With this power, she could help save humanity from God’s upcoming ordeal. The ordeal her father warned them all and made preparations for the revival of their cult’s god. There’s some worry and fear over herself, on what carrying Jezebel inside her meant for her soul’s state. But Amane never told any of this to her father, much less any of the followers. He believed it’ll help them all to overcome the ordeal, so she’ll trust in him and the teachings.
As long they can save everyone from suffering in the coming ordeal... then Amane would swallow her quiet fears and offer up her soul.

When the government put up the lockdown, Amane’s been very busy. Fighting off demons and providing aid to the civilians, it’s exhausting but it never made her tired of it. Seeing the people’s suffering encouraged her to try and save them all.
“Do not worry, this lockdown will be over and you will return home safely.” She said to a young boy with a reassuring smile. The boy visibly relaxed, but Amane can see the worry on his face. “Just stay with your parents and you’ll be safe.”
“O-Okay. Thank you, miss.” Hearing his mother calling for him, he glanced back at Amane before running over to his parent. Amane keep her calm smile on her face, knowing she’s still in public, as she stood up and walked around. To soothe their worries and give them a peace of mind, however temporarily... until as many of them can survive this as possible with the Shomonkai’s help. And she’ll make sure they do so as much as possible.
