what do the results of the non friends thing mean? is it the people who read ur journal who aren't on ur friends list?

I think basically it's friends of friends. Lets you know some people you might want to add to your friends list (since they are friends with people you know) or might want to get to know.

Not really, it's supposedly the 50 people "closest" to you, that are not on your friends list.
