nice, i had the same problem on the sink in my new apartment. It had a leak and it was hot water so it was costing money. I knew i had to get the knob off, and i did get the cold water one but the hot water one required this tool you speak of.

SO i just got the maintenence man to do it

Right on.... sucky thing about home ownership though, you can't call the maintenance man... you have to take care of such things yourself. :-/
