Heck, I'm 24 and I want to take scissors to Pattinson's hair.

That said I agree with you; I watched Twilight recently in a fit of business-trip boredom, and enjoyed it more than I expected, although that still won't convince me that I can read the book(s).

LOL! His hair in the movie isn't bad, but the man needs a personal hair stylist for himself! Eek! I saw an interview where he said he's not concerned with washing his hair every day and then he runs his fingers through it and it stands up on its own and that's just...ICK.

Don't read the books. If I had just watched the movie, I think I would have enjoyed everything better. (Although to be honest the movie might have made me want to read the books and then I'd still be in the same pickle. I love Entertainment Weekly's summation of the movie. "If the Lost Boys was written by someone who dots their I's with hearts..." Yup. That works.

Oooo didn't realize Deadliest Catch was new (sets DVR to record).

I'm the same about Castle. I love watching Nathan but the show so far is kinda drab.

Love Lost. I've had my ups and downs with it over the years but they've been doing a great job for the past season or so. I still have no idea what's really going on and that's great.

Twilight.... yeah, cheesy is a good word. Can't really stand it.

I watch Lost, Life, House, Leverage, Burn Notice regularly. Otherwise, I'm watching Discovery/NatGeo/etc. or Fox News while working on the computer.

I think the only thing going for Castle is Nathan and he can't even overcome the bad acting and boring storylines. Too bad too - I was VERY excited to see him in a new show. (And I REALLY want his bulletproof vest that says "WRITER" across the front! LOL!)

I watch Life and House (although to be fair -sometimes House annoys me. They spend a lot of time analyzing people's emotions and feelings and just STATING them...and I feel like screaming "Don't EXPLAIN everything to me!") and Burn Notice. Haven't seen Leverage but have heard a lot about it.

Deadliest Catch - is that just about fishing or is it about eco-people? Just checking...wasn't sure.

Deadliest Catch is about 6-7 boats that do crab fishing up in Alaska. It's one of the world's most dangerous jobs, especially because they are often working 36+ hours without sleep doing heavy labor on a boat with high waves with freezing temperatures. Definitely worth watching, even the reruns (you don't have to watch them in order to appreciate it).

I know what you mean about House. Leverage is pretty good as long as you can ignore the mild political stuff here and there (anti-capitalism at times).

Lost is rocking the casbah this season. OMG, how much do I love love love Ben? And I know I'm not supposed to love him, because he's arguably a Bad Guy, but the dude has layers, man, and I find him fascinating from a writer's perspective too.

Castle makes me laugh, I love his relationship with his daughter and his mom, and the whole "poker game" thing in the pilot where they were saying "That's a sucky plot" had me giggling like a loon. However, I'm easily entertained.

Chuck is my all-time favorite show right now. If I had to pick one show to watch this season (out of the...*counts* eleven that we're currently attempting to keep up with), it would be that one.

Castle himself is awesome - not a fan of the show cause I think it's kind of boring. But Nathan does make everything fun! He's Captain Tightpants!

Chuck is awesome and I'm SOOOO loving it. Specially with SCOTT BAKULA! WOO HOO! And last night's episode was great.

Nice to see you - how are you doing these days?!

I'm madly scribbling away on the new project (which probably won't go anywhere, but it's what the Muse wants right now and I've learned not to argue with him). I really do need to get something ready for the next Writers of the Future quarter, but all my short story ideas are being...recalcitrant. Feh. I really didn't want to beat the crap out of poor Ben again and even Alex is getting meta about the universe using the guy as its favorite punching bag. Woe.

And, yeah, I'm giving Better Off Ted about three more eps before ABC gives it the axe. It's too funny, quirky, and different to last long.

I haven't seen Castle, but I'm not watching anything on ABC these days because KABC's digital OTA signal in L.A. is crap.

I think I'm the only person on the internet who thought Kings was meh. Chris Egan is like a boring version of Matt Czuchry, and whoever the girl is who plays Michelle is just...bleh. And whenever I look at the queen, all I see is Col. Mann from NCIS (who totally belongs with Gibbs, BTW!).

The only shows I've been faithful to this season are The Big Bang Theory and HIMYM (and AI, but only on Tuesdays since I have other things going on on Wednesdays).

ABC's been unkind to a lot of programs that I adored in recent months, so I'm not really a fan. Only watching Lost and I have caught a couple of episodes of Better Off Ted. It's really witty and well written - so I'm sure it will be canceled soon. *shakes head*

I liked Kings because the underlying story is a good one - and we don't see 'big' dramas anymore. No one does grand television. Ian McShane is an awesome Silas. Love that character.

I recognise that name but I cannot remember where from. I preferred the Twlight book to the movie. Take care.

Was a fan of the story of Twilight - just not the writing itself. I feel like it could have been bigger/better...but that's just me. I've been tempted a few times to just rewrite what she wrote as fanfic, but I don't have the time...even for a few paragraphs. Although I may venture into fic world for that one...we'll see.

Nice to see you -how are you doing?
