Thanks to everyone for the kind words on my last breakdown post. They were muchly appreciated. Anyhow, I talked with my boss yesterday about everything and let him know what was going on in my crazy coffee-addicted brain. He was incredibly understanding and is going to help me out with a lot of the problems in my current location. He also ( Read more... )

You know, I once had a coffee-addicted brain. It was causing problems at work too. We are talking about 12+ cups per day - HIGH STRUNG!

I now get two bags of coffee when i go shopping, one regular and one decaf. I put the both together in a container and shake 'em up. It works, i still get my Joe and my high, just not as bad. I am not as strung up, my yelling has come to a stop and the bitching at the kids it practically gone.

Coffee-addicted brain is used very loosely. I have one, maybe two cups of coffee a day. I happen to manage a coffee shop, thats more what it was in reference too.

Damn, i forgot about that! That would be death for me if I worked at a Coffee Joint- i can just see it, pushing a pole around while it holds a bag of coffee with an IV line to my arm!

BTW, congrats on the weight loss!

And thanks! :D

Oh my God! What a loss! More than I lost--you are looking great--well, weight wise anyway.

We need to talk wardrobe here. Since I have lost weight, I have left the t-shirts behind, and I recommend you do too! Go for wife-beaters or other tank tops. They can be really cheap at walmart or such, and target has had some nice form fitting t-shirts and tanks for cheap as well.

Flaunt it lady! You aint gonna get prettier as you get older. You can buy tighter jeans at goodwill because the rest of society is eating their way out of them.

And jewelry. Lots of things can be jewelry. be creative if you don't have the money to spend but doll yourself up and treat yourself well.

What a great accomplishment! Actually I just logged on and was going to write you to ask you how things went with the boss. Sounds like things could be on the right track there to :)

Well, I have always loved wearing my slacker gear. An unsightly burn scar on my upper left arm keeps me away from the shorter sleeves since I really don't like answering fifty dozen questions about it.

This t-shirt actually was form fitting when I got it about a month ago, but thats how it's gone all along. Get new clothes, find them too big a month later. Ive also never dug the tight jeans. I've always loved the looser fitting, doesn't hurt to breathe pants. I just have never cared for the feeling of things clinging to my skin.

I do usually wear jewelry, if only necklaces. I alternate between a beaded necklace my brother got me in Honduras and a hematite ball chain an ex gave me years ago. And, of course, my earrings, which are a circular barbell affair, but those never change.

Thanks for the kind words though! I've just always been a slacker at heart, and don't see my wardrobe changing anytime soon ;)

Well, that was then and this is now. You can be certain that the reason why people ask you about your scar is because they are trying to convince you they weren't looking at your breasts. And if you don't find the questioner attractive, tell them that it was a positive TB test.

Wear your scar with all the pride that a guy would. Heck, they relish them--just look at vengance boy.

There is nothing more comfy and nonbinding than the stretchy tops as long as they fit right. Cotton seems awkward, angular and even brittle in comparason.

It is an exercise in getting used to our own bodies and finding out what some outside-of-us-ers already know--we have that thing called beauty.

Hah, good point. Well, to be fair, the scar is kind of large, and apparently looks like a tattoo removal, hence the questions.

I'm scarred to bits all over, curse of being a tomboy all my life ;) I just don't like random strangers talking to me out in public.

I love stretchy tops! Thats how the one in the picture was when I got it back in March (its a st. pattys tee). Guess Ill just have to go shop around Target for some more like it, but in a medium :D

(edited since I used the wrong icon on the first reply) ;)

Almost a direct quote of me when the chica at LA Weightloss read off my total missing poundage!

One good thing LA Weightloss has done for me is help me with my eating habits, so if I can help ya in any way with your weightloss, by all means let me know! And DDR counts as a workout ;)
