Realestate.com.au Listing:Ron and I have just signed a contract and put a deposit on a house!! I am so excited!!! At AU$375,000 it is an absolute bargain (2 acres is worth more than that... so the house is a freebie). Yup, we will be.. though I get to keep my dayjob, and most of the work will be on the weekends, when Ron isn't working.

Fweee! Congratulations! We couldn't even buy our one bedroom apartment for that little here! Can't wait to see pictures! (I'm a hardware and home furnishings buyer IRL so this sort of thing makes me very happy.)

In Sydney something like this would cost a lot more, I think. I'm soo looking forward to fitting out my studio and work spaces. It's sort of like getting a new doll, doing the esthetics/faceup and then dressing it up.... a lot of the fun is in the process while imagining the results.

I'm looking forward to putting in the hard yakka, cleaning this place up nice, but keeping it in tune with the era it was built in. You'll have to come take a look next time you're on this side of the country.
