Realestate.com.au Listing:Ron and I have just signed a contract and put a deposit on a house!! I am so excited!!! At AU$375,000 it is an absolute bargain (2 acres is worth more than that... so the house is a freebie). Either there is something they are not telling us, or we are the only people with vision... I would have thought the potential is obvious.

that's odd about the 'build your dream' tear it down attitude.. makes you wonder. The place looks really great! hope the tiling on the roof is good too. so happy for you, my husband and I are trying to work on our debt and hope someday to have a place of our own, just like you ^___^

Hey, the house sounds awesome - congratulations!! We, too, live in an older sorta rambling house (more inner-city, though...) and you learn to love the cracks and the doors that sometimes close fine and other times don't close at all. The cracks could be from the ground shifting due to drought, pure and simple. We have a doozy in our upstairs bedroom. But the high ceilings and the stay-cool-ness and the odd angles are great! :)
