It seems like Denny Kim's team is really having trouble trying to find the best sizing. My Trudie's head is a bit on the small side, but the neck hole seems a decent size. I would have liked for the head itself to be bigger, but I'd actually be rather upset if the neck hole ended up being as huge as the one on your AJ!

I could be upset, but I am so happy with the sculpt I am just going to live with the neckhole.. or fix it myself.

They look awesome! The cheekbones and the jawline are fantastic and the lips... well... never mind... you know what I think of them lips!

Well I've been in touch with Catrina but she never got back to me with any details (like; did I get a slot or not, and price and so on). But there's no hurry... if I really am going to build an army of Angie there'll be plenty of faceups to go around.

Agreed, but I also want to do some expression mods, f ex smile with teeth, knit brow, squinty eyes etc.

She looks great! Even better than the preview pics. I can't wait to see how she looks painted... you going to ship them out for faceups or do them in house?

The heads I got originally had very small neckholes... like, slightly snug even for SD10 skinny necks. I ended up sending photos and measurements to Denny for SD13 BOY heads and necks...

I hope that they haven't applied those measurements to all new heads across the board. *dies*

The heads seems to be all different sizes, though. It's strange. Like, blackpaperbag's head is from the first batch and it looks like it's on the big side. All of the others I've seen from that batch seem to be on the small side. I haven't seen enough of the new heads to know what sizing they suit. The second head I got seems to be on the large size, but it's more "BJD" proportioned in the face so it looks right with the other dolls. Most the size seems to be in the back. Weird. Is your AJ sort of lengthy in the cranium (sort of in the way the MNF Lishe was?).

Yeah the cranium is a bit on the long side, but it helps with keeping wigs on, so I won't be modding it. They did not use the size of your heads (they are a little extra big again) across the board but did a slight increase in size on all the second-batch heads. Maybe they did adapt the SD13 boy neckhole? The measurement I take on my heads give 10.5-11cm as the diameter. I'm gonna have to beef up what ever body I end up using.
