Having to leave your family/animals behind you mean?

Jetlag is the serious downside of short trips though - I took one to Germany and slept through a great deal of it, more's the pity.

Leaving the house and the pets and the people behind is definitely a big part of it, but I was referring to the duration of the flights, and the nuisance of runnign through airports and getting stopped in security checks etc. It would be good to be able to just fax myself over, or go for a couple of hours drive to get there, rather than over 24 hrs of train, plane and car in one long haul.

You know, I'm still not "getting" it. It hasn't sunk in, doesn't seem real. I don't usually squee in real life, and I didn't then either. I was shocked when I came back and it was sold out, though. And last night I dreamt that the dolls were selling fast too XD
