Ahhh! there's a website for the movie now, and a date...I found this on another livejournal. I always loved these books...I only hope the movie doesn't ruin them.
I agree for the most part...though I don't know about assertive. I am when I'm with people I know well, but a lot shyer around just aquaintances or people I'm unsure of.

Strange days have found us
There was a shooting today at my school. Over 30 people are dead. One girl I know was shot twice in the leg and had a broken femur and may have been shot somewhere else as well. Wierd...
I just got back from a long weekend in florida yesterday. It was a lot of fun, despite being rather cold. It was in the 50s and 60s for most of my time there. I got to explore Savannah on the way down, and hang out with my family. It was nice to be with them for easter. And I beat my brother and my parents at hearts! That never happens ( Read more... ) -

Y'know, I really like that seaglass color blue. Y'know the old glass buoy type of blue? I'm thinking about this because that is the color of my cereal bowl. I really like cereal. Especially honey nut cheerios, with milk! for a change ( Read more... ) -

I have the best timing. I walked out of room to throw some stuff out in the dorm kitchen right as a mentor group was cutting up thier fresh out of the oven brownies. nostalgia
I totally just got what the purpose My Antonia was. The book still sucks, but I think I understand the emotion he was trying to evoke in how the narrator was going on about Virgil and how he thought that nostalgia is one of the most beautiful emotions or something.
