Hmmm, so tell me why seagulls are so pesty? we don't have any here in LA... Are they the Southern equivalent of squirrels? *everywhere, eat what's not intended for them, etc.)*
Lets just say, other cities have pigeon problems, we have seagulls. We are used to, and expecting some seagulls as we are situated at the coast, but the last few years they are completely taking over.
We have a large pond at the middle of the iseland, where ducks and other waterfowl (some pretty rare) used to raise their chicks. People would walk the paths around it and feed the ducks. Now the other fowl are almost all gone, because gulls are taking the nesting spots and more important, eating all the chicks. And it is almost impossible to walk the paths for attacking gulls.
Gulls are ferocious and they will eat anything. It is almost impossible to eat outside in the citycenter, the gulls will dive at you and try to snatch food out of your fingers! They actually have dived into strollers to steal food from children
