You were really able to capture Hitomi's thoughts really well. But poor Van in not being able to fly with Hitomi, I can only imagine his hurt thoughts when she kept saying that she didn't want to fly.

Its essence is hearbreaking, but the way you wrote Hitomi's thoughts was simple and direct to the point and I liked it. :)
