I actually finished a seventh year fic a few months ago, in which Harry visits a captured Pettigrew in prison and invokes the blood debt to command him to tell him the "secret" of Godric's Hollow. /my opinion on that.
I've been under the impression that Godric's Hollow will be important in the final book; whether it is something simple, ie the setting of the finale/final duel b/w Harry & Voldemort, or... something more complex, ie I have no effing clue.
I don't, however, have any idea whether or not Deathly Hallows = Something to do with Godric's Hollow, nor have I been trying to think to much about the title [Me = likes surprises]. I did entertain the thought that the Deathly Hallows is somehow connected to who/what lies Beyond The Veil.
That's a good question. I would be inclined to think it does, because there had to have been some SAFE remains for Harry to have been pulled out of - otherwise Dumbledore probably would've rushed to the house himself or Harry might've been taken to a private hospital or at least checked by Dumbledore/someone else before being deposited on a stoop.
However, since Muggles were apparently swarming around, I couldn't say. Magic can do a lot, and that might be possible without them actually knowing what was going on.
I don't think the Fidelius charm is still intact. Just because I don't think Hagrid is evil, that's why. PS, chapter 1, Hagrid speaking: "... house was almost dstroyed but I got him our all right before the Muggles started swamin' around..." I see no reason as to why Pettigrew should have told Hagrid about the location of the house if he weren't a DE - so I think with the destruction of the house the charm ended.
Or the Potters made Pettigrew write down the location - not unlike Dumbledore had for Harry in OtP - and they gabe his note to Dumbledore. Might be.
And I do agree on the fact that Godric's Hollow is going to be important in the next book. Either a Horcrux will be found or the showdown will occur there
Actually, Hagrid wouldn't have to be evil to have the location of the house. Because of how the Fidelius Charm works, he could have been told the location of the house before it was attacked - as could any other number of people who wanted to visit James, Lily, and Harry. They wouldn't be able to tell other people the location, and like the books mentioned, even if Voldemort was staring through the Potter's living room window, he wouldn't be able to find them.

(I don't believe Hagrid is evil at all either.)
