Went to the Hamfest today. Late start because of the weather. Took 4 tries while backing out, to get on top of the crown on the road that was ice covered and wet with rain/sleet. Took the slow way there, down 8 Mile Road. Not a bad turn out for such bad weather. Maybe the aisle were quite narrow, making it seem like there were more people then were ( Read more... )

Took care of the snow not that bad at all. Repaired the broke piece of plastic guide for the power book plug. I came up with an Idea of how to keep it in place and still be able to move and move back in place. A small piece of clear 5/8 ID vinyl tubing. Some slots cut in it to give a spring like affect. Finished the short shifter in the Geo Metro. Was not exactly a drop in like I thought. Had to figure out to re-bush the control arm and other parts from items I could get from Lowes. Had to do it somewaht quick. Then install everything before the weather turned bad. Well I did it, before the area became a frozen little lake. Works quite well. Cuts ( Read more... )

Have too many things to fix or do at the moment. With a little luck with the weather I will be putting in the short shifter in the Metro. Waiting for the parts for my wife's PowerBook. Got back early. The feral cat has not been seen for weeks. Did not take that many pictures weather and things to do and time. The deer were out before there was any good light, and me being awake. I did take this off the deck, where the deer walk around the house. No deer in the picture.
