'Twilight: Breaking Dawn -Part 2' Ending To Change From The Books!

...I don't know whether that idea is encouraging... Or terrifying.

Mostly because of this:

Twilight star Robert Pattinson told Entertainment Weekly: “When I first read the script, I got to that part and was like, ‘What?’”
Adding: “And then I had to go back a page. It does it a serious ( Read more... )

...If it somehow alludes to the possibility of a sequel (According to Hollywood Life, the film will include a sequence "dreamed up by [author] Stephenie Meyer and longtime screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg one night over dinner"), potentially a story that might center around Jacob, Renesmee, and a certain other person who might cause this to have a love-triangle angle, my brain will melt.

I got the bukkit ready for the impeding brain meltings.

And honestly...can this fandom be over...PLEAASE?

Unless the above scenario happens, it's almost over.

Now we just have 50 Shades of Grey and The Host. *headdesk*

No. We have Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, and Fifty Shades Freed. AND the first chapter of what I keep thinking of as "Fifty Shades of the Midnight Sun." AND James is threatening to rewrite all three books from the point of view of Not-Wardo.

This is never, EVER going to end.

... Can I hope for a serious battle at the end with ACTUAL deaths?

Or not?

if it's the case, I wish that both Edward and Bella end up dead! That would justify all the headdesking and facepalming we all had suffered!

I dared to hope that when I first heard about this- Then I read that Meyer was in on the change and had in fact proposed/helped write it, and I gave up on that idea quickly. NO TRAGEDY FOR HER BABIES, NO SIREE.

The two things that I have heard--courtesy of Entertainment Weekly--were Pattinson saying that the ending was going to upset a LOT of fans and Stewart saying gleefully that the ending was completely nuts. Unfortunately, the very fact that Meyer is involved indicates that it won't be the GOOD kind of crazy ending.

I'm crossing my fingers for the "everybody dies, jacob and renesmee abscond together and become kickass vampire hunters" angle I was hoping for when I was halfway thru book 4.

Umm, it sounds like they just changed the ending. Good or bad, I don't know. It's never reassuring on what the studio, or Melissa Rosenberg, will do. Never.

No matter what they change, it's still going to suck. It's like Deathly Hallows, or the rest of the Twilight movies-no matter how much you change, it's just so much crap it's going to still suck
