I can't stand how close minded my parents could be. I just wish they realized that I'm turning 18 in a few months & that I'm capable of making my own decisions. Them constantly trying to make decisions for me just makes me do things more without their permission.

You are such a great person & you deserve all the good things you get. Every decision that you make is supposed to make you happy. We all can't live to please our parents, especially us young girls - we want to take every advantage we can get of experiencing the real world & feeling independent for once. It's so awesome that you are so dedicated to school, what a great thing.
