I dont get why!!

...sorry I should have started on a better way so if anyone is reading this can understand. 
I got this series...actually I swapped books giving Twilight to my friend, while she gives me A Great and Terrible Beauty. You see I feel in love with the series because I related a lot to Gemma and not because I have creppy green eyes,

It was a wonderful, touching, perfect ending, but it's not what I wanted at all. I wanted Gemma and Kartik happily married. Not Kartik as a tree! And the last scene of the book when Gemma is dreaming of him... not cool. I seriously kept thinking he was somehow going to be brought back to life.

I feel exactly the same way, agreeing 100%. I thought maybe the dream they shared might come true, and Gemma could marry him and have a sari in India with henna. Definatly no Kartik as a tree!! I wanted him to come back too, I was maybe waiting to maybe he can maybe tuen human and as tree but at a price but no he is just a tree, -tears pouts-

I wish... NO! DARN IT, why is he a tree? He didn't even properly die! Gemma wont even see him after she dies and crosses over in the realms. jdfhdjksfh dfhdsjkfh

I DID NOT LIKE that KARTIK WAS A TREE!! I know I was sad about that when I was thinking about how Gemma was going to New York, she might find another love, but its not the same as Kartik and its not the same period!
