This news report tells of the quite surprisingly beautiful and emotional Wellington day that was yesterday.

I really liked Birdsong, its was really moving, made me feel almost there, quite a feet given I was born nearly seventy years after the war ended. I tried reading another Sebastian Faulks recently " On green Dolphin street" and was quite dissapointed, it didnt seem to be nearly as well written as either bird song or Charlotte Grey. Ah well maybe I'll go back to it later, it may take a bit of work.

Aw, I hate when that happens. Note to self: bypass On green Dolphin street. I have read and enjoyed Charlotte Grey though. :D
