So this morning (like 5ish, cos I go to work at ridiculous times sometimes) there was some banging noises outside my bathroom window. We don't own a dog but our neighbours do, so I just assumed it was him

I would look out but not go outside. I live in the mountains and there are bears outside sometimes so no. No outside for me...lol ESPECIALLY in the dark!

I live at the edge of some woods, so I wouldn't go outside, in the dark, to investigate a strange noise. I'd look out the windows, and try to identify it that way. During the day...I'd probably do it the same way - use the windows.

I wouldn't go out but I'd try and peek out the window, shine a light out there!
