Whoa, Joe, we don't know each other and it's none of my business, but it's only been a month, right?

I urge you to at least have a lengthy engagement period. Forgive me for my intrusion, but I don't think anyone can gauge a relationship's long term potential that quickly.

I know you feel sure, but I know plenty of other people who felt sure and then . . . didn't. It's definitely happened to me.

i had a ring on my finger pretty quick too, and we did have over a year of being engaged. it seriously did help. so many unexpected things pop up (probably more for the girl than the guy) :) good luck, joe. i went through this pretty recently so let me know if you need help.
