I feel as if this is just the beginning of more and more trials that will be laid before us in this world! But I believe as Christians we can over come this! We simply need to devote our hearts to God and live with a passion for Him every day of our lives. Random question. You had a facebook status a while ago saying you just got back from hanging out with Sarah Palin. I knew from LJ you got to go to a rally. So, did you actually get to meet her?

our hope isn't is some political party or candidate..our hope is in Christ. It's true, everything is in his control. No one would be in charge if God didn't give them the power(Rom. 13). And because they are our leaders, given by God, it is imperative that we pray for our leaders. think about that passage in Romans 13. when paul tells the church in Rome to honor and respect the leaders of government, he was actually talking about Nero! if Paul's charge to the church was to pray for a psychotic leader in that of Nero, how much easier is it for us to pray for Obama?
