Any number of allusions. These days are a jumble and I am neither up nor down. But maybe both.

We're all leaning towards love, like some blanket to keep us warm through winter. And we'll lean that way forever, pulling sheets off laundry lines, lying in them, looking for sun spots and grass stains and company ( Read more... )

writing with your feet on the pavement, speaking about the bare hands of trees, and the lovesongs of glaciers is always a pleasant read that I enjoy. It's like reading a poem and story smushed together, like eatch a penut butter and jam sandwich. It goes together much better than eathing them separate.

Glad to see that you're enjoying the updates and things, lurking somewhere not on my friends page.
I've always found it a little flattering to know that there are people out there who sort of stalk my journal and read from the shadows.

I guess I defeat my own point by telling you every time that I make a new update then I guess, eh?

I think you may be right there. I mean, really, that's the only explanation.

I feel like putting soapy water on my shoe soles and walking about. Looking for bubbles. That's what they do with tires, isn't it?

Is it me that makes your heart ache, or does it ache for my sweet sweet package? Heh heh.
You'll never live that one down. Ever. It's too damn funny.

If you read something I've written and you find your heart aching any, just remember me making fart noises in the darkness of a hotel room. I'm sure that'll clear any of those achey feelings up... unless you're way more deranged than either I or the general populace give you credit for.

This may be the case.

I Love that story about Mike Winter. Don McKay told me about that when he was here a while back -- I think no one heard from him for a while then they all found out that, hey!, he just had a little incident with an incinerator. My only thought was, "man, that's tough. You can't claim writer's block with material like that just happening to you." Take it easy, B-unit.

Oh yeah. I used to read his blog he had going when he was touring for The Big Why. Then one day he stopped and I heard he was back in the province. And then nothing. And more nothing... but I guess that story answers a bunch of questions about the origin and cause of the nothing.

I know, right, like if that's not something you'd expect to read about in a book somewhere as opposed to some dude who was - ironically enough - a writer. Too much.

I find myself a little jealous, hah, that's gotta make for some inspiring stuff.
