My iPod died!
Unsalvageable.
Unbelievable.

Fuck.

I don't know what to do with myself.

I'm sorry. RIP Benny's iPod.

It kinda just stuck and died, haha. I think it had a stroke.

Yeah I don't know what I'll do without mine either. Walking about town is going to be a lot less entertaining.

That's no fun at all. Mine was 279 days outside its warranty, haha. So I'd put some miles on it, but it's no less depressing to me. Especially when the Apple service people basically said "Buy a new one".

Hrm.

If you can't get any satisfacton out of curstomer service, or are umable to get it replaced, mail it out here. I can have a look at it, see if it's repairable at all. Odds are it's not, but there is a chance that tis just a pop'ed resistor or cap or something.

Basically their customer service person said, "It'll cost you almost as much for us to fix it and any 3rd party won't do anything to help your warranty so it could conk out again any time. If you use it a lot you should just buy a new one."

So maybe I could send it out on the off-chance it's nothing serious. Who knows.

I appreciate the offer, thanks. :)
