ALL OF YOU ARE INVITED TO THIS!Well, those of you who know where I live and are also in the vicinity, I mean. I don't imagine anyone to book a flight to eat my cupcakes. Even if they are ( Read more... )

I've only seen 2 of these (what the hell is wrong with me?!) so I feel unworthy of voting. But it sounds like a good time, even though I will not be flying across the country for a cupcake.

...now I want a cupcake.

I do own Sleepwalkers... but Andy can't stand it for some reason. XD

"Get the bad guy, Clovis! Get that motherfucker!"

That is VERY much a movie in line with the others.

People Under the Stairs is an awesome (and humorous) Wes Craven flick. More of a dark urban fairytale than a horror movie. It's about a young black kid from the projects who goes up against his creepy, perverted white landlords who happen to have a basement full of gold and stolen children (some of whom have turned into pasty-skinned, mutilated teenagers after years of neglect and abuse). The black hero teams up with a little white girl who is next in a long line of these stolen children, and has yet to displease her "parents" enough to get thrown into the basement with the rejects. One of the rejected kids is now living in the walls, and helps 'em out. It has some legitimately tense moments but it's a fun, weird ride that I recommend highly to pretty much anyone. :)

Actually, the one thing that ties all of these movies together is that they are more something else than they are horror movies. With the exception of Philosophy of a Knife (or even including it, tbh), I can't imagine any of these actually scaring someone.

I like the idea of Troll 2 and Monster Squad.
