I noticed that a local lady had posted on CL selling off her old Star Trek stuff. YAY! So ilthuain and I drove out to Vancouver to battle the street numbering system that makes NO GODDAMN SENSE once again for my craigslist whims (last time it was for a cat tree). So I went onto Etsy: Alchemy to ask if anyone could make stamps for me. Then, on a whim, I posted another one asking if anyone would be willing to make a TOS Romulan uniform for Andy.

I'm tempted to dress up in full Vulcan makeup and costume to take engagement photos, but Andy doesn't have a Trek costume and I don't want to be the only costumed person in the picture. :( Maybe I can convince him to get something for Halloween, and we can combine the two... Trekkies - Yes, it took me until 2010 to see the 1999 documentary about Star Trek fans. It was totally cute, and made me smile a lot (I cringed a little, as well, but I smiled more). Things I've Learned in the Last Week (Or So)

So. Yeah.
It's our 5 year anniversary. Since there was sunshine, ilthuain suggested we do a picnic at the Rhododendron Garden to visit the ducks. This is one of my favorite spots in all of Portland, so a Saturday picnic seemed very much in order.
