Would you prefer the replies to remain spoiler free? I haven't finished the books, but I pretty much know what happens, so...have at it!

:: Moral Excellence
What defines a hero for you? Why? Someone who is eternally working for good in the world, and put others' needs before their own.
What is the best back-story (past) a hero can have, and why? A traumatic experience or experiences in their past. It seems like it would be easier in those cases to become pessimistic or even villainous (seeking revenge, for example), so to choose to do good would be especially admirable.
What should be a hero's perfect weapon, and why? Love and determination. Not to sound all lame and cliched, but love (or the ability to love) is really the strongest weapon a hero can have. I believe that a hero should be a hero because they love and care.
What is the appropriate weakness for the ultimate hero, and why? Mercy. I do not think a hero should have the desire to kill or even injure their enemy. They should simply want justice.

:: Those of Nobility and Strength
Name a few of your favorite literary/t.v./movie heroes: Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Fitzwilliam Darcy (Pride and Prejudice), the Pevensie children (The Chronicles of Narnia)
Choose one (of the mentioned above) heroes and explain why he's the perfect hero: I will choose Mr. Darcy for this one. At first he seems like the anti-hero, perhaps even the villain, but you learn later all the good he has done for Elizabeth and her family. He did not want recognition, he did not want thanks, he simply wanted to help. Even when he took Bingley away from Jane, which makes you suspect his intentions, he was doing it because he cared for his friend and did not want to see him hurt.

:: This or That
Lone Ranger or Part of a Team? Either.
Cheery Attitude or Solemn Spirit? In the middle
Capable or Incapable of Revenge? Capable, but choosing not to seek it.
Supernatural Hero or Plain Old Human? Either, but I suppose Plain Old Human. They shouldn't need supernatural abilities; those would just be an added bonus.
Hero by Choice or Forced Onto the Job? By choice
Secret Identity or Does His Family/Friends Know? Family/Friends know, but the hero does not do it for the recognition
Prefers to Handle Situations with Brains or Brawns? Brains

:: Tell The Truth and Shame the Devil
The hero of your story is forced to choose between having a normal life with the woman/man he/she loves or to continue saving the world, as usual. Which does he/she choose and why? That is a tough one! Ideally, they would be able to divide their time fairly, but that rarely works out. I think it would depend on how the world would be affected without him/her. Would there be other heroes or appropriate law enforcement that could pick up where our hero left off? If so, the hero would definitely choose to lead the normal life with his/her love. If not, the hero would spend as much time as they could with their love, but would inevitably continue saving the world.
The hero of your story is thrown in a situation where his/her enemy is about to fall to his/her death, after nearly killing millions. Does your hero let him/her die accordingly or does he/she save him, to face proper justice? Why? He/she would save him to face proper justice. If the hero is like me, he/she would want proper justice, but could not condone killing the villain or letting him die. Murder is murder.
The hero of your story has the chance to work alongside someone else --- someone who has the necessary skills to help and keep up. Does he/she take the chance? Why? If they are both working for good with unselfish motivation, then of course! Whyever not?
