At midnight, television screens all around Peaksville go on, and West is there holding a mask in front of his face. "I do so enjoy a good party, don't you? I do hope I'll see you there. Don't be worried, my little creations if things seem bleak early! It will all work out alright in the end!"

When West appears on the screen in the cinema, Sirius jerks awake. He lifts his head off of James's shoulder and groggily wipes drool from the corner of his mouth.
As West speaks, he sits up in his chair, thinking he's dreaming.
"Oi!" he shouts angrily at the end of the speech. "You nutter, you sent us here without our wands. How come Snivellus has his, and not us? Parties, I ask you. We're -"
He then looks at James, worried that he might have woken his friend. It occurs to him that he's not dreaming, after all.

It wasn't until the faint hum of Snitch wings could be heard in the theatre that his ears alerted him to the idea of waking up. Slowly one eye peeled open and he looked around the dimly lit theatre.

"Got you a gift," he said, dangling it by one wing in front of James's face. "Careful. Might be a dungbomb in disguise."

"So how did you find a snitch?" The snitch was acting like his, but with this place, he wasn't sure-- there was only one trained snitch that he knew of, but he was in a world were Snape was old enough to be his father. The thought made him frown a little.

"I woke up and saw West up there, talking about parties." He motioned to the screen. "Thought I was dreaming, so I started shouting at him. I asked him, as anyone in their right mind would be so inclined to ask, why he gave dear old Snivellus his wand, but not two upstanding citizens such as ourselves. So, then -"
He turned in his chair and pointed to the row behind them. "I hear a woman back there, turn around, and there she is, sitting atop my chair like Nimue herself. She introduces herself as 'Miss Devlin' - still with me, here? - and tells me Snape got his wand by making a trade with her."
The last sentence was said with the gravity one would attribute to a shocking scandal, if one were unsurprised about said scandal.
He shrugged. "I told her where she could put her deal, and she gave me that as a gesture of goodwill."
