So I now own an Xbox. Austin and I went to GameStop and I traded in all my wii crap to get a used 250gb Xbox.

He's pretty good as far as knowing what to play and what he likes; he's actually played video games a few times in his life, unlike me. But me. Well, I have no idea. I started playing fable III as a demo and liked it so I bought the full ( Read more... )

I would definitely recommend Fable II, especially if you like the 3rd one. 2 is probably my favorite of the series. I would recommend Mass Effect (1-3) and Dragon Age: Origins (1, Awakenings, & 2). Mass Effect is sci-fi though, not fantasy. None of them are quite as cartoony as Fable is, but they're all very good.

The Elder Scrolls series is fantasy, very realistic, and my personal favorite ever. Mass Effect is a close second.

Assassins Creed is another good series, just don't bother with the first one. I'm a big fan of Dishonored. The Arkham games (Asylum & City) are awesome; they're the closest you'll ever get to actually being Batman.

These are just the games I own and can let you borrow. ;P If we ever manage to actually hang out again (hint, hint) I can go on (and on...and on...and on...) about it some more for you.

Are you on Xbox live? If so, what's your gamertag? I'm daemonwise, same as here.

I looooooved Portal and Portal 2. So much fun. Portal can be downloaded on xbox live arcade, Portal 2 is a normal game. I also really enjoyed Crackdown and Crackdown 2, Overlord and Halo 3. Played lots of other fun games, too, but those were my favorites.
