I'm staying home tonight to work on one of those analysis. I'm going to complete a rough copy by the end of the night; even if it's a half ass paper that even disgusts *me* I will have a rough draft. I will give this draft to good ol' Gaffy tomorrow, and he'll hopefully finish editing it by the end of the day. Then I can come home and type up

No gun. There's nothing wrong with caring about earning the recognition for things learned. Grades are not the sole reason for your existence on the planet, but they do have some value, and deserve moderate attention. But of course I would say that; I'm one of those evil educators. Muhuhahaha!
