My first canvas picture

I did this for my boyfriend as a present. This is him in the picture. For some reason it doesn't look finished to me. Still not bad for my first canvas painting. I tend to be better at using pencils and not paint. Tell me your thoughts on it and what I can do to improve it.

:O Wow, that's really great. How long did it take you to do that? And what materials did you use? It may feel unfinished to you because you feel like you have to make it as good as possible, but to me, I think it's awesome. ♥ He'll love it.

Ow! I chipped one of my back teeth. I don't know how I did it. One day my tooth started to hurt and when I checked a piece of my tooth was gone....maybe it was stolen *shifty eyes* or maybe I just swallowed it by accident :S....

Ouch. >_< Do you have a lot of cavities or something? Do you still have a tooth that you need to lose? I dunno what to tell ya... it's bad to grind your teeth together constantly though, so I suggest you don't do that.

Thanks :) I work on and off. So I'll paint for like an hour and rest to watch TV or something and then paint again so it took about a week to do. I used normal acrylic paints on a canvas. My teacher often complains that i'm a perfectionist at art so you could be right :P

I don't have any cavities most of my teeth are fine. I might have just bit into something and i didn't realise that it chipped my tooth :( I hate that sound when people grind their teeth..it goes through me >:(
