Thing? My, my, my. You certainly lack manners, boy.

I can't call you a person because you obviously have no heart. *Glares*

*laughs*

Not a person, you say? What an entertaining thing to say!

You are truly one of the most amusing people I've ever had the chance to swap words with, boy.

You can't even feel a shred of love for anyone! You remind me of an angel - one of the lifeless, soulless beings that your son and the person I love the most could have become!!

She's been dead a long time.

I know that, but still...

It must have been tough living with that thing beforehand.

I'm surprised you could put up with her.

I couldn't. I left her after Zelos was born. Should have taken him too.

But... even if the clones of Mom and Dad don't love you, the clone of our Dad back home in Iselia didn't seem too bad. Even if he played the bagpipes badly.

Lloyd, don't let her get to you. Her words are poisonous. Listen to them long enough, and they may corrupt you.

She is a pitiable woman. But that is no excuse for her venom.

*Shakes head* I never thought it could be possible to be so heartless...

*half-smile* I overheard you comparing her to an angel. You're not far off. However, she does have a heart, deep down--it is just one that has been walled off from the world. Some people think that the only thing to do after being hurt too many times is to keep the world away, whether that would be through lashing out against others, smiling and pretending nothing is the matter--or remaining aloof and keeping others at bay through coldness.

...Like you were?

*Realizes what he said and covers his mouth*

Err... I mean...
