Hi,

I bought a Banyuu D18 DJ from you at AE this year...dunno if you still remember me? XD And then I found my way here via your shop URL...just out of curiosity, do you sell DJs when it's not convention time? Or do you have a shop somewhere in Vancouver? (I'm assuming it's an online shop/convention stand since I didn't see an address on the website? =S)

Yes yes yes! I remember you! You're the only one at AE who KNOWS of Banyuu (one of my favourite circles)! *glomps* >o<

Unfortunately, I do not have a shop (unless you count my storage room at home XDXDXD). But I do actually sell doujinshi outside of conventions. Usually, people would email me privately (or message me here on LJ) to request for whatever doujinshi they want. And if I have what they requested for, I email back all the necessary information (basic doujinshi info, cover scans, and pricing). And if you live in the Vancouver area, I can meet up with you to give you your doujinshi. Though I can only do this over the weekends because I work on the weekdays.

Hurray I am remembered! XD

Good to know you do meet-ups outside of conventions ^^ (I live in Burnaby). I forsee myself wanting more Banyuu stuff in the near future, when my wallet recovers from the money-sucking evil that is AE D: (Too gorgeous to not want, sigh.)

Hi! Um, I'm back? XD

Would you happen to have a copy of "Saa, Koi wo Shiyou ka" and "Kurakura", both from Banyuu? And, um, >__> were there any new DJs from that circle I'm not aware of yet?

Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply! I've been in and out the last few weeks and hardly had time to check email and stuff.

Anyways, will you be coming to the Final Fantasy concert tomorrow (Thursday)? If so, we can talk about the arrangement for rides and stuff. If not, well... Jing, you and I can get together at a later time (or MSN) to figure out everything. As of right now, Jing needs to attend classes on the Thursday before Aki-Con. So I *think* we're leaving at around 1pm-ish. I'll be picking her up at Kwantlen and then heading to the borders from Richmond. Maybe we can make arrangements to meet at Richmond or a halfway point?

Wow... I don't know how but I somehow missed this comment. Sorry for being 2+ month late. But yes, I will have quite a handful of 5927 doujinshi at AE2010. Hope to see you there! :)

No, I don't have a GST/HST number either. I've just emailed Amanda about this yesterday and I'll see what she says. Like I've said in my email to Amanda, none of the other conventions I attended - Anime North, Sakura-Con, Aki-Con... and heck not even Animethon who tried to persuade me to attend - asked for a GST/HST number. So I don't know why they would suddenly ask for one. :\

I got a reply back from her. I think it's the Canadian version of the UBI that Sakura-Con requires. Now I don't know how easy/hard it is to apply for one in Canada, but if things went as smooth as it did for Sakura-Con, then we shouldn't have much to worry about. Basically, all we need to do is apply for a temporary GST/HST number. The aftermath is what's crazy. We have to report back to the Canadian tax revenue agency how much we made and pay taxes based on our profit ( ... )

Hey there! It's so wonderful to know you're going to Sakura-con again, I really loved your booth, as well as your extended and detailed knowledge of the doujin you were selling. I bought so many doujin from you, as well as my best friend. I will never forget seeing the Naruto x Gaara doujins sitting there, like a shining jewel I thought I'd never get to buy at a con...But what was the most amazing point of the entire time looking through your pieces was the conversation and time you spent with my friend and I. Talking about the different doujinshi, the pairings and artists we all loved, and especially the highlight of all three of our distaste for Sephiroth x Cloud. I'll remember that moment forever ( ... )

I remember you and your friend! You guys were the only anti-ish Sephiroth x Cloud fans I've ever met! It was so fun talking to you guys! It was sorta like a stress relief session, because no one else I know would listen (or care) about my distaste for that pairing. XD

Anyways, I've been doing research on Mello/Near doujinshi, because a lot of people had been requesting for this pairing. I've so far only found one, but it's a Near x Mello. Don't know if you'll be interested in that. :\ Do you know of any Near x Mello doujinshi artist at all? If you have some names or doujinshi titles, it may help me with my search.

LOL. Seriously we're the only ones who don't ship Sephiroth Cloud that you've ever seen? That's so sad. Well we seriously can't wait to see you again. It was so much fun hanging out at your booth with you. You were nice and fun ^^

Anyway depending on what circle she'd be interested in it. She doesn't mind Near being the dominant pending on the story. I know of for sure one group that my friend is looking for is called Alegre specifically one called "May, 2008" and she's also looking for "From a Small Town" which is a series of three.

Anyway I hope you'll have some Dissidia Final Fantasy. Or more Zack x Aerith doujinshi. The one I bought at your booth was really cool I like the artist a lot Be-Shi. The artist also does some funny and cool Dissidia stuff. :D

Well, the few anti-Sephiroth/Cloud fans I talked to dislike the ship for the wrong reason. I get a lot of "Eww... yaoi!" or "Ugh! Cloud belongs with Aerith!!!" And that never sits well with me. >_<

Re: Doujinshi

The one I currently have is actually BY Alegre! XD But not the one your friend is looking for. But I do have other Near/Mellow and Mellow/Near ones on the way being shipped to me.

And yes, I do have more Dissidia doujinshi. By Be-Shi too. Attempting to find the hilarious AU highschool Dissidia one by her now. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a copy or two by Sakura-Con.
