I first saw Gods and Monsters years ago at Gaylaxicon (National Gay & Lesbian Science Fiction & Fantasy Convention). I loved it so much I bought a copy on DVD to support it, but I still have not watched it. I agree Brendan Fraser becomes something quite worthy of note in the film, but I watch it and cry. I don't want to grow old and be alone and pathetic. Old I can handle. Alone, if I must. But just not pathetic.
