It makes us stronger better people. At the tail end of when I was writing on LJ, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease - I was devastated. I lost 30 pounds and I was in really bad shape. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I came out of that experience stronger and healthier. Some times, we have to get beat down like a sword, hammered, tempered to be made whole and strong.
