Should have asked him about his "geese". For 500 years the Bishop of Winchester licensed most of the brothels in Southwark, and made a pretty penny from prostitution, and these women became known as the "Bishop of Winchester's Geese"

Not any more. We had a re-enactment group called the Winchester Geese for a time, though and we frequently quipped that the clergy were our best customers!
