I have the most irrational feeling---like, there something being hidden from me, that he's hiding something. Crazy, right? It has to be---but sometimes, when I wake up in the middle of the night I reach for him---and he's not there. And I assumed he was peeing, or getting a drink, or perhaps Bailey was whining or chasing the cats, but there wasn't a sound, besides Bailey whining in his sleep. I wait, until he comes home, pretend to be asleep all the while, acting none the wiser...
What if, what if he's met someone else? No, he keeps dropping these hints, saying things that make me think he's going to propose or something, but he doesn't...What if---no, he wouldn't. He's learned from school, I know he has.
I miss Lily and Acacia and all of them. So much.
