That park looks nice! I think it'd be pretty nice for a photoshoot (weather pending). I haven't checked the weather report yet for that weekend. Hopefully clear skies.

I know what you mean with the suntrust building secruity. I mean the buliding locations is decorated and designs so perfectly for any shoot and they don't want photos being taken. That's what they get for making such a beautifull buliding. I mean come on people. I hope we can take photos there this year cuz if not I'm sneaking some. I mean I can see them getting mad at the skate borders but for us it's just photos.

you just have to fill out a little form beforehand and have it on hand during the shoot. the 501st and Rebel Legion do their shoots there every year with no problem.

Sadly, you mentioned on Cosplay.com that you'd been unable to access the tenth floor by elevator. Then someone else mentioned that rumored it the tenth floor had succumbed to the Marriott construction curse and was closed off. Panicked, I called the Marriott directly and was "reassured" that the tenth floor was indeed under construction. When asked if it would be done in time for D*C, all I got was that they were aiming for early September but otherwise an estimated date of completion was "indefinite".

Since I'm now desperately trying to find an alternate location for all the "Harry Potter" shoots I'd planned and would like to avoid having any of them outdoors at all costs, you may want to re-think the Marriott tenth floor yourself.

*prays that no part of the Marriott will be under any kind of rennovation for D*C '09 at least*

NVM, the guy who'd be most on top of this kind of stuff reassured that the construction will be done by the time D*C rolls around, and honestly in your pics the tenth floor already looked way different than it did last year and little appear to be going on, so if it wasn't done by con time I'd know who not to hire when my (hypothetical) hotel needed renovations.

Also, what time's your Rayearth shoot so I can add it too the list?

And the Rayearth shoot is more of a private one so you don't have to add it to the list. I think that just might confuse people a bit. But thanks for asking.
