[It's a few days after everyone gets back from the draft, and Edward has fussed over Winry enough to the point that he'll probably get the wrench soon, so it's about time to go check on the other person who was out there. He hadn't really been too worried about Ling, what with Greed's regenerative and shielding powers and the fact that they probably have at least twenty deaths to go through before they kick it, and that's good enough to negate most of his concerns.

Still, a friend is a friend, and this is a friend and... well, Greed incarnate, but they're both close enough. So Edward will come a-knocking on Ling's apartment door sometime in the late morning.]

[Naturally Ling won't actually BE there. But he will poke his head from down the hall, from the floor's kitchen. He'll watch Ed a bit... then decide to get behind him as quietly as he can.]
