omg the twins and hubby got rear ended in the car on the way home... we now need to get new car seats (and have no cash for them!) and the back fender is messed and the trunk wont close! *sigh*

ICBC will cover the seats, they have to replace them with the same or better seats than you currently had and the babies seat must be replaced as well, if it was in the car but if I were you tell them it was regardless because they won't know the difference and then you have the back up seat just in case... If her base of the infant seat was in the car even they have to replace the base! They may act like they don't but they do!

thanks. the girls big girl car seats were in there, and the base to the thea's infant car seat was in the van not our car (the van is my FIL's)... our car only holds 2 car seats.... we have one spare big girl car seat but wont tell them that when we go to ICBC....

tell them your infant seat was in the car too there never going to know the differece and then you have a spare!

we have a spare infant seat. we got a brand new one with this baby becouse it came with the stroller my parents got us. and we still have 2 of the saftey first ones from the twins left...
