One Sentence Book Review

Aug 16, 2010 00:11

I'm going to start doing this thing where I write a (hopefully helpful) one sentence review of the books I finish.  Of course, I'd love to discuss the books with you further if you've read them or just want to know a little bit more.

my story got a shout out? I'm honored. I'll have to check this out on Amazon.com. Not that your one sentence review isn't enough, but I'm rather curious.

Also, interesting idea. Can't wait to see what else you're reading!

Also, why am I awake?

:) Only the first part of your story though, because duh this book is about an end not a beginning. I dunno, it just had that same LA tone.

Creature of the night I see. I could ask myself the same question. I've nearly see the sunrise for several days now. :/

gal8028 gave me the push I needed to buy the first one. I can't wait to get the next two!

Ooh, MJ's Paparazzi? I'd read that book just on that recommendation alone.

I haven't read Stieg Larsson yet...trying to...get past the intro. Ugh. But everyone says it's good. I'll just have to push through. And then it'll become crack and interfere with my life. I wonder if I can hold of reading it till The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest comes out in paperback. :)

Yeah the first 100 pages or so are kind of too technical to be interesting, but I would say it's worth it. It's nothing like how it was described to me the first time. >.<

I never thought about that. Oops. Maybe I'll read the second one super slowly...
