Eeeeee show is finally back! For real this time, even.
That was the best episode of the season for me. It felt like old times. I'm looking forward to the rest of season six again. Yay!
Loved the return of classic rock and the brothers working a case together and SAM -- real SAM! -- is back! And he didn't return as I feared, filled with anger at Dean and somehow twisting everything around to "Dean ruined my life." You know, if that had happened, I think I would have been done with this show. I love it, but there's only so much I can take. But instead we have sweet loving Sam again! I am so relieved.
And finally, a hug between the brothers -- at last!
Did Cas really accuse Dean of wanting to kill Sam? Does Cas just not know him at all? I am so confused by the Cas character these days. Oh, and Princess Bobby can shove it -- didn't he basically order Dean to just get over everything Sam did to him during his demon-boinking days? I guess it's a lot easier to issue those sorts of orders than it is to take your own advice.
But whatever -- Sam is back! Yay!

And Dean not even knowing what World of Warcraft is -- oh, love. Love!
It was great seeing Dad's journal again.
Dean vs. the sword was hilarious.
And, and... they decided not to drag out Sam learning the truth? They just advanced this plot right along in a single episode? WHO ARE THESE WRITERS??
And then Sam sincerely apologizing for what he's done? IS IT MY BIRTHDAY??
I'm interested in the Mother, too. So all is right with my SPN world again. Eeeeeee.
More tomorrow... unfortunately I need to get my sick "az" back to bed.
