Hello Update!
Things I have learned while I have been home:
1. Dial up sucks. still.
2. Working during the holidays as someone that's there to "help" means you will be tying a LOT of ribbon and wrapping a lot of presents. Cool. I just wish they were mine...
3. I love my puppies!! ^.^
4. Art can be fun over the holidays afterall, especially when my mom hangs out and watches my technique.
5. Drinking with my parents is a lot more interesting and entertaining than previously thought. (as of learned last night.- no I did not get drunk or have a hangover later)
6. Lemoncello is still sooooo good. So is Kaluah. (is that spelled right?)
7. I am apparently Left-Brained on the Facebook brain test. I swear that little ballerina girl is spinning counter-clockwise! I can make her go clock wise if I try hard enough, but GAH! I'm the only one in my family that is left brained! HOW!? WHY? I am the ART STUDENT of the family... >.<
8. I am working on a small/short story. It's pretty cool. It's a retelling of a fairy tale. And I want to illustrate it in a kinda sequential way. There are only some problems:
8a. I have no idea what I'm doing.
8b. I have 15 pages is that enough? Is there a standard?
8c. What size do the boxes have to be? Can I leave out a box on say the "widescreen" view?
8d. What do you call the "widescreen" view?
8e. and should I color this in the computer or do it in watercolor? or some of both? gah!
8f. I totally said my abc's while making this list...
9. I love my bed and my room and not sharing ANYTHING! I realize I really love the silence and having time by myself. While I love college, I am a homebody. I don't dread going back. It's just- I love my room and having a space of my own.
10. Being engaged apparently means I need to set a date NOW! I honestly don't care and would rather just have family there and not put everything on display.
11. Thanksgiving was... interesting. My favorite aunt has cancer and she's not telling half the family right now. Luckily my family knows. But it doesn't help that it is the same rare form of cancer that my grandmomma died from.
12. Friends suck sometimes. I realize I am one of those sucky friends. It's just bad when you look at all your high school friends and realize you don't want to hang out with any of them.
13. I really miss Landon a lot. He's up in Virginia and ... it sucks not seeing him everyday after work. :( Plus that bastard got snow. I wish I was there.
That's all for now. Christmas and my birthday should be interesting too. ^.^
