It's a shame the LJ app is pretty much unusable, because I do most of my internet activities on the go these days. Those who follow me on twitter have probably noticed that I've been very active on there recently. For some reason, twitter makes more sense to me here than it did back home. Feel free to
follow me if you don't already. I'd love to

I can't stand the LJ app. I don't understand why it's so hard for them to make a decent one. At least the mobile site is functional.
OMG I can't believe the guy at the embassy was such an asshole. I mean, wtf? But, like you said, same as back in Norway.
Hope the rest of the process goes smoothly!!!

Haha! I just re-downloaded the LJ App, and it's actually quite usable now???? At least for reading the flist and leaving comments. The last time I used it, the text rendering was off, and it would insert a lot of garbage characters, but I haven't seen anything like that now. Last time, it would also not remember where in my flist I was when I clicked to read an entry... so I had to start from the top and scroll down again.... NOW IT REMEMBERS! It makes it really easy to catch up on entries you've missed and leave comments along the way :))) I'm so happy about this! I was feeling so guilty for never finding time for my flist despite being so active elsewhere ;____;!!!
THANK YOU! FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Hey, old-school Norwegian furniture and design is in style! It's very classic and flatters a lot of decor. As for the laughing situation, a more ideal situation would've just been a little chuckle of reminiscing and an "Oh, I used to live there!" Not this weird howling. What's the joke, right? My passport is up for renewal next year (a LOT of people got theirs in 2006 and 2007, too, so there's apparently going to be a big glut of renewals) and...I hope it's easily done because I don't fancy interacting with any surly government servants... (Even though I'm rather used to the almost overwhelming politeness and kindness you often experience with people in the South, it's also not 100% of the time and definitely not the case in other regions.)
