The Ghibli museum came up pretty frequently as a MUST SEE when I first visited Japan in 2007. I never went. 1. People who had been there made it sound like the museum was located in a really inconvenient, hard to find location. 2. the museum opened up a special cat bus room for adult visitors just earlier this year
WHAT? That's amazing. I was so jealous my brother got to play on the cat bus and I didn't when we went XD

Hahaha yup! It's not a free standing cat bus like the one for kids. It's sort of... built into the room? The head peeks out over the archway leading into the room, you step inside, and you're inside the catbus! Big, fluffy seats, windows, fur everywhere. You walk out the back, and you can see the whole outer side of the bus too (and peek in on the people enjoying a ride!).

I'll keep an eye on their cinema schedule, a couple of the museum exclusive shorts really caught my interest, so I want to go see them if I can! :)

Thanks so much for getting tickets. I'm so glad that we went and it was a really great place. I wanted a picture in the catbus too! That reminds me, I bought the postcard set from the museum but haven't opened it yet. I got it because I think it has pictures of the museum inside.

Oh, having seen Music Station I now know who Tamori is! How odd.
