I'm really intrigued by this. I love my 3DS but have never bothered with a Wii/U. The third party support make me think that the games are going to be great though.
I love the concept of it, but I do wonder how the portability aspect of it will catch on. Will you really encounter people in the park just hanging out with their Switch? Hmm. I also wonder about compatibility with the WiiU and 3DS. It seems to be able to read SD cards, so could you play your 3DS library on it? Would be pretty sweet.
That would be amazing but I can't see that happening somehow. I am worried that if this fails then they've sabotaged their successful arm - the handheld console and I don't know how they'd come back from that.
I've never been into the portable gaming as much so this isn't exciting me. I just want to play on my big screen TV, that's why I have it. I just want to play Mario and Zelda and I wish the Wii U was less expensive! Interesting that they are moving back to cartridges though! I guess that is because of the portability factor? I wonder how this effects how big a game can be?
But it still plugs into a TV... sooooo? Haha. My first portable system was the Game Boy Color, and it went with me absolutely everywhere! My gaming in general has been reduced drastically, but whenever I do pick up games now, it's usually for the 3DS. Not really sure why, I usually don't go outside to play 8D I guess it makes the gaming experience more like reading a book?
Haven't they announced that a new version of Skyrim is going to be released on Switch? Game size doesn't really seem to be an issue.
Yes!! well, muted hype since I guess I was spoiled by a rumor that practically got everything right some months ago that I wish I never read. I then got into trouble for saying that it was a spoiler, because that can't exist? idk XD
It's going to be really awesome for me as I love handhelds and don't spend a lot of time playing at home anymore!
On a side note one of these will look really nice next to your tv in your house lol
