A collection of pictures from my recent visits to the Tokyo Disney parks.
World Bazaar is decked out for the Holidays. Look up, and you'll see these garlands with Mickey shapes.
In the middle of World Bazaar, you find this enormous Christmas tree. So enormous, it's actually difficult to photograph! I wonder who all the gifts are for.
The newly renovated facade of Refreshment Corner looks wonderful and is also made up for Christmas.
The theme for the Christmas celebrations at Disneyland is "storybook". The plaza is decorated with characters celebrating their favourite stories.
A dance segment of Happiness is Here, the regular daytime parade at Disneyland.
I love these jellyfish dresses!
Obligatory princess picture
What I wouldn't give to be able to ride one of these little bug contraptions!
A detail from the queuing area of Grand Circuit Raceway, which is closing in January.
Pete and Elliott in the Electrical Parade.
DisneySea on the other hand is celebrating Christmas Wishes. It ties in well with their 15th anniversary celebrations, which is called "The Year of Wishes".
As an annual passport holder I do my very best to limit my spending at the parks.. but I just couldn't resist the cuteness of these SnoSnows. It's a custom made plush figurine, you order the parts separately, and go pick up your order at a designated time. It makes it a fun activity to do at the park, and you end up with a pretty unique souvenir!
I really fell in love with the Christmas decorations at American Waterfront. They were so over the top, with that warm red colour everyone associates with Christmas. Very beautiful, especially at night.
Oh hey, Gelatoni found some big SnoSnows! (isn't he cute in his Christmas gear??)
I think this is the first time I've been able to get a picture of Mount Prometheus actually erupting!
The Christmas decorations at Cape Cod are very... original. Lots of cute little details.
My SnoSnow was here! I should give him a name... any suggestions?
DisneySea also has a huge Christmas tree, it's placed in American Waterfront
Underneath it, you'll find gifts from all the other harbors!
Lost River Delta
Arabian Coast
Mermaid Lagoon
Mysterious Island
Mediterranean Harbor also looks wonderful during Christmas
Gelatoni in front of his Christmas painting!
Lost River Delta all made up for Christmas
Days are a little shorter during winter, it gets dark around 4:30-5:00PM. And all the Christmas lights come on.
I snuck a peek at A Table Is Waiting -Christmas Cuisine-
I also went and saw Fantasmic from the Fortress Exploration fortress. It's fun to watch this from a different angle.
Right behind the magic mirror.
And here is Maleficent, where is Mickey?
I had planned to see Color of Christmas -Night Time Wishes-, the night time Christmas show... but my planning didn't pan out. The light decorations from the show are left up until the park closes, though. Giving you plenty of time to take pictures of the glowing Christmas trees.
I guess on my next visit I should try to get some pictures of the Christmas parades and shows!
