 I love children. Really I do. They're precious and snuggly and adorable. I'm glad to watch them. Provided I volunteer or am asked, rather than being "volun-told".

I have been drafted to look after the Boss' baby. I don't mind as long as I am ASKED first. I had things I was going to do tomorrow morning. The bedroom needs serious cleaning. The dishes ( Read more... )

First incident: I was "volunteered" to host a bridal shower. She tripped up when someone complimented the punch and she tried to take credit. Even though it was a very simple punch, when someone asked her for the recipe, she couldn't give it. (It is a bottle of cranberry juice, an equal amount of lemonade and a 2-liter bottle of either ginger ale or white soda/lemon-lime soda. Rainbow sherbet is optional.)

Second incident: her sister, the sister's then boyfriend and two children came to stay with my family because "they need a place to stay until they can find an apartment." Turned out that the sister didn't have custody of her sons, but her ex-husband did. We didn't find out about that tidbit of information until they had already moved out. To make matters worse, the custody thing was an international custody battle ex-husband who had custody was born and raised in Israel, the non-custodial mother was originally from Wisconsin, moved there after she turned 18 or something like that, the boys were born in IsraelThose are the ( ... )
