Well Roxy I totally dislike Facebook period. Meeting ex girlfriends who told me off years ago, ignoring me in public. Then 'poking me' and sending a 'hey joe long time no see'. Former bosses from NuComm and Sitel that if I saw them in public, I'd smash them in the face, yet try to add me to Sitel Facebook Group. wtf?! I like my myspace and lj cause it's a sound board for my distaste for life, or downtown or when I rant about girls....

two words: fuck facebook. haha blah blah

I still prefer LJ to any of the other online communities. The people that write here tend to put more thought into what they write and I feel closer to folks in general here.

Glad to see you're still posting here even if only once in a blue moon.

Congrats on all the home improvement. I know how good that can feel.

Hope you have a great long weekend.

LJ is what I use primarily. I will cut and paste LJ posts into Facebook on occasion though.

LJ I use for journalling no matter how trivial the posts I make are.

Facebook being fluffy and lacking proper filters is mostly for event listings and tracking who's going to what.

Hmmm, it just occured to me... Facebook is the chatter you have at a bar with loud music with LJ being the talks you have in the kitchen at a house party.

Quoted for truth.
